What happens during an autism evaluation?
Our autism evaluations are comprehensive and conducted by our board-certified developmental and behavioral pediatricians. We understand the importance of timely results. Typically, our evaluation results are delivered at the end of the evaluation or within the next business day after the assessment, not weeks or months. We believe that early diagnosis can change everything for your child.

How to get the most from your telehealth session?
For your telehealth session to be as effective as possible, it's important to ensure good connectivity and a suitable environment. Here are some tips to get the most out of your session:
- Optimal Screen and Location: Use the largest screen available to you, whether it's a phone, tablet, or computer. Find a quiet and distraction-free space in your home for the session. It's a good idea to test your connection by logging into our waiting room (you can access our TELE platform through Tebra).
- Network Connection: To ensure a stable connection, be close to your Wi-Fi router or in a location with the best signal possible within your home.
- Stable Device Position: Keep your device stationary on a table or stand, and position yourself about 2-3 feet from the screen. This setup helps in clear visualization, especially if your child is asked to perform tasks in front of the camera.
- Connection Backup: Don't worry if the connection is lost; we have a backup plan. We may switch to a phone call or an alternative method to ensure continuity.
- Minimize Background Noise: Try to keep the background noise to a minimum. Avoid having the TV or music on during the session. Ensure pets are kept quiet or out of the room entirely.
- Child-Friendly Setup: If you have a child participating in the session, consider setting up a child-size table or play area with 3-4 toys within view of the camera. This setup can help engage your child effectively.
